Join us for a beginner mahjong class! Zero prior experience required.

Our beginner mahjong classes are a total of 5 hours of instructions and meet twice. So each class is 2.5 hours long. Why does it take so long? There is a lot of information to absorb!

In the first class, you will learn the the tiles, the National Mahjong League Card basics, game objectives, and the experience of at least one practice game round.

In the 2nd class, we will continue with guided play learning, how to deal, how to do the Charleston, the entirety of game rules, and how to win!

You will not need to bring anything with you. We provide snacks, drinks, and a game rules handbook to keep. Mahjong is a game of practice so keep playing after class ends! A lot of our students that meet in class become friends and continue playing with each other.
